Mooncake syrup

Lotus paste seed is essential for traditional cantonese mooncakes. It is usually made of lard but I substituted it by oil. Please make sure to check out the other two videos about mooncake syrup and the mooncake itself too.

材料: 完成大約 285 克= 10.oz,  需要 260 克= 9. 17 oz, 分 2 份, 每份 130 克= 4. 58 oz

1. 100 克 = 3. 53 oz, 乾蓮子
2. 450 ml = 15. 22 fl oz, 水
3. 100 ml = 3. 38 fl oz, 煮蓮子水
4. 60 ml = 2. fl oz, 菜油
5. 50 克 = 1. 80 oz, 糖
6. 少許鹽

Ingredients: finished around 285 grams= 10.oz,  I need 260 grams = 9. 17 oz, divide for 2 portions, each portion 130 grams = 4. 58 oz

2. 450 ml = 15. 22 fl oz, water
3. 100 ml = 3. 38 fl oz, cooked lotus seeds water
4. 60 ml = 2. fl oz, vegetable oil
5. 50 克 = 1. 80 oz, sugar
6. a pinch of salt
